If you’re reading this, you’re probably like me—someone who’s been thinking about building a personal branding for a while, maybe even for years, but hasn’t quite taken the leap.
Maybe you’ve started and stopped.
Maybe you’ve overthought every post.
Maybe you’ve worried about what people will think.
Same here. 😅
But today, I’m choosing to do something different. I’m starting a 60-day challenge to build my personal brand—intentionally, publicly, and imperfectly. And I’m taking you along for the ride.
This won’t be a polished, step-by-step “how-to” guide (not yet, anyway). This is a living, breathing journey. One with missteps, breakthroughs, learning curves, and most of all—growth. Personal branding.

Why Personal Branding?
Let’s face it: in today’s world, your personal brand matters more than ever.
Whether you’re a freelancer, an entrepreneur, a corporate professional, or a creator, people Google you before they meet you. Your online presence often speaks before you do. And if you’re not actively shaping your personal brand, then chances are—someone else’s version of you is doing the talking.
But let’s not get it twisted. Personal branding isn’t about becoming an influencer or selling a curated, perfect version of yourself.
It’s about owning your story, sharing your voice, and showing up as authentically as possible. Personal Branding.
What Sparked This 60-Day Challenge?
I’ve had enough of watching from the sidelines. I’ve followed people who share their ideas, document their progress, and build meaningful communities—and I’ve thought to myself, “I wish I could do that.”
The truth is, I can. And so can you. We just need to start.
This 60-day challenge is my permission slip to stop waiting. It’s my commitment to myself—to show up, build consistently, and document the journey. And even if no one reads this (besides maybe my best friend or mom), I’ll know I kept a promise to myself. Personal branding that matters.
The Rules (Keeping It Real)
I’m not going to overwhelm myself with a million rules or try to be perfect. But to give this challenge some structure, here’s what I’m committing to:
- Post content 5 days a week – This can be a LinkedIn post, a blog, a short video, or even a tweet. The goal is consistency, not perfection.
- Document the journey weekly – Every week, I’ll reflect on what I did, how it felt, what I learned, and where I’m headed next.
- Engage with others – Personal branding isn’t just about “me.” I’ll comment, share, and support others who are also building.
- Be honest – About the wins and the struggles. Vulnerability is part of authenticity.
Week 1: The Starting Line 🏁
This week is all about laying the foundation. I’m starting with the basics:
- Clarifying my “why”
- Defining what I want to be known for
- Cleaning up my social media profiles (especially LinkedIn)
- Choosing platforms that align with my energy
Spoiler: I’m focusing on LinkedIn and this blog for now, since they feel the most natural to me. No pressure to be on every platform.
I’ve also started jotting down a few content pillars—topics I care about and want to speak on consistently. For me, that looks like:
- Personal growth and mindset
- The journey of building something from scratch
- Creativity, productivity, and navigating self-doubt
- Behind the scenes of this challenge
- Encouragement for people who feel “stuck”
If you’re starting your own version of this challenge, I highly recommend figuring out your pillars early. They’ll become your North Star on the days when you feel lost or uninspired. Personal Branding.
What’s Already Hard 😓
Not gonna lie—there are already challenges.
I’ve caught myself second-guessing my writing, comparing myself to others, and wondering if any of this will even matter. But then I remind myself: Everyone starts somewhere. The people I admire didn’t show up fully formed. They grew by showing up before they felt ready.
So that’s what I’m doing—showing up scared, but showing up anyway.
Why 60 Days?
There’s something powerful about a 60-day window. It’s short enough to feel achievable, but long enough to create real momentum. I didn’t want to just commit to a “one-month sprint” that fizzles out, or a vague “this year I’ll be consistent” promise that never gets traction.
Sixty days feels like the sweet spot. A real shot at transformation & personal branding.
What I Hope to Gain 🌱
I’m not doing this to “go viral” or become an overnight success story. Honestly, I just want to:
- Prove to myself that I can follow through
- Build confidence in my voice and message
- Connect with people who resonate with my story
- Learn by doing (instead of endlessly consuming)
- Lay a strong foundation for long-term growth
If I can do that—just that—I’ll consider this a massive win.
An Invitation to You 🤝
Maybe you’re reading this and thinking, “I’ve been meaning to start too.” Maybe you’re tired of waiting until things are perfect, or until you feel “ready.”
Consider this your sign.
Your green light.
Your invitation to begin.
You don’t need a fancy strategy. You don’t need to be an expert.
You just need to show up—as you are, where you are, with what you have.
Join me, if you want. Start your own 60-day challenge. Or follow along and cheer from the sidelines. Either way, I’d love to hear your story, your thoughts, or even your fears about showing up. Let’s build, reflect, and grow—together.
Final Thoughts 💭
I don’t know exactly where this will lead. But I know this:
The cost of staying silent is higher than the risk of being seen.
So here’s to the next 60 days—of courage, consistency, and connection.
Here’s to building something meaningful, brick by brick, post by post.
Thanks for being here. Let’s do this. 🚀
